Have you ever tried registering a “Care Pack” on one of HP:s many websites for support? Have you ever tried using something other than MSIE while doing so? Pages that don’t load completely and pages where the javascript doesn’t do anything when you try to do the same thing with Mozilla Firefox 1.07 are just a few of the problems I encountered.
Yes, I’m aware of the fact that FF is now at 1.5 and counting; I’m also aware of the size of HP – their resources and their “commitment to Linux” (where, for example, MSIE isn’t available).
So, “what up HP”? Get your shit together and make it work with “all” browsers. Your support registration services can’t possibly be so advanced as to require the latest of the greatest. If they do, start making flash applications 😉
