Something I think can be said for many European and other “leaders of the world” in how they have let short-term gains outmaneuver long-term stability; energy stability, political stability, and financial stability.
If anyone is wondering how the current state of affairs came about to be, we also need to question our own commitment and ability to demand good leadership. We’re witnessing debts of time and the consequences of our previous actions (or lack thereof) being called in.
And no, I’m sorry to say, wind power and closing your eyes won’t work.
