While translating an OS (open source) application, I ran into the word “tooltip”, but couldn’t think of a good translation (swedish). The biggest problem is that “tooltip” no longer describes what it does. It’s used all over the place as a convenient “mini help”.
Not even the, usually so helpful, Svenska datatermgruppen was of any use this time 🙂
