The “First Filip Week” has come to an end with the arrival of friday evening 🙂
“First Week” as in his first week of full-time (well, 0900-1500) day care. He’s enjoying it (I’m sure his friends there are more fun to play with than dad) a lot, but comes home completely exhausted and quite “edgy”. Oh well.. he’ll get used to it.
It’s been a hectic week with Janet being out of it (with the flu) and me having to handle the day care routine in the morning and in the afternoon; single parents, you rock! 🙂 I don’t know how my mom did it, alone with three children. I salute her, wherever she is (up above somewhere).
All of you who think you’re “macho”, “cool”, “disciplined”, “strong”, and so on.. I can recommend giving up a 20+ year tobacco habit and doing the morning day care routine with two children.. if you can handle that, you are what you think you are 🙂
